Autumnal joy and the wonder of a toy: It’s getting all Autumnal in the woods this week as Liz and Samm rustle through the leaves reflecting on 'rigid versus release' and the teaching term so far: zipping onto zoom, ‘those’ moves we love to hate, ‘client led’ adaptions and the joy of going sloooooooowwwww…
Welcome to the VitaChat Pilates Podcast for all Pilates teachers and do-ers - Liz and Samm are back in the woods chatting about the new teaching term, the Mysterious Core and comedy cueing….with Swiss Rolls and Do-nuts included…do get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org to join in.
This week we mull over the week of melting movement and look ahead to more moves with the band as the buzzard circles overhead.
We are pitched under the parachute, perusing potatoes, petrol caps and of course all the fabulous facial fascia work this week, and looking ahead to busting some Big Core myths with the band next week. And also manage to get in some hot gossip on hoovers.
This week Liz and Samm are sitting in the shade sensibly sharing spiralling thoughts (and a quick review of the faces in that Friends reunion..) and pondering the awesome link between mind, movement and mood before pulling silly faces to prep for Facial Fascia Week.
Liz and Samm do a spot of birdwatching from the indoors this week as May has an issue with the weather. We talk the joys of toes, squats and this week of venues, vids/ and zoom togetherness and look ahead to next week’s All Together Now end of Term 5 montage with some bonus features.
Liz and Samm ramble through the woods reflecting on the fascia focused 'Floor and Core’ class and discuss baggy tights, saggy faces and Zoom necks. Once Samm is reassured that Nala hasn’t caught the baby rabbit, Liz introduces next week’s festival of 'Feet and Ankle Love' to celebrate, and ease some of us back into, the Big Return Indoors.
Liz and Samm don their dungarees to chat about the ‘Organs' class and introduce this week’s ’Self Massage’, continuing our focus on feeling good and the power of our interoceptors. Key word this week is: Melting.
Quote of the Week: Pilates: Here to improve what you do most of the time.
